Raffle Tickets at $50?

Why $50?
Why not give each family $500 dollars worth of Raffle Tickets at $10 a book etc.
Why not let parishioners participate?
Why not let parents let grandparents friends family contribute?
Why make it $50 so that only parents have to fork it over.

we are plaining a ladies night out .

Getting HELP for the Christmas Party!

The Christmas party has been Great.
However, I have been told that the commitment is way out of control. VERY DEMANDING! The committee members are required to pay for items, get 15 participant's and get food etc..
Why not post a blog or send out letters a few months before, to see if anyone for example can donate WINE or Food Etc..
There are many of us who would like to contribute but only find out after the fact.
Only too late!
Why not set up a e-mail or something so that people on the List can be used, instead of putting too much of a demand on one person or persons.
